I served as the Volunteer Coordination for the Phil Loos for Simi Valley City Council District 1 campaign from June 2020 through November 2020. In this role I was in charge of expanding our list of volunteers and mobilizing them for our various campaign efforts.
Donation Drive
In my position working to elect Phil I’m most proud of the donation drive which I spearheaded. Weekly throughout the summer leading up to the election we distributed unfilled grocery bags to households in the district asking them to fill them with goods for a local food pantry. This allowed us to provide material benefits to the community, increase name ID before people wanted to hear about an election, and train our volunteers how to use the field software we would use later in the election.

We significantly overcame a stark Republican advantage in the district's voter registration and outperformed the number of Democrats registered by over 7.5% on election day thanks to our aggressive field campaign.
