Summer 2022 I worked in Representative Cori Bush’s Washington D.C. office as a Communications Assistant.

In this role, I prepared briefing memos, press releases, and other materials for Congresswoman Bush.

I also prepared the Congresswoman for interviews with members of the local & national press and assisted with meetings with constituents, advocacy groups, and other local leaders.

Additionally, I assisted in securing co-sponsors for the Congresswoman’s legislation and communicating her legislative priorities.
